about this author

A native New Yorker, I have been living in Morocco for over twenty-five years. I'm a graduate of SUNY Albany (B.A. English and French) and Framingham State College (M.A. Education). I was a contributing editor to FODOR'S MOROCCO 2000 which features my essay on Moroccan religion and its resonance in the culture. A former teacher, I am currently a translator. THE STRINGS OF THE LUTE is my first novel.

967108 You know, if you liked The Prophet, you might like The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. I found some similar sentiments in both.
