When I hear that she may be the future of the Republican party or, better yet, that she and that hollow uber-douche Glenn Beck might team up in some political way, I'm actually a little hopeful that I might live to see such a thing. While I have little faith in human nature, overall, and even fewer positive feelings about the current trajectory of our society, specifically, I'm still pretty sure that such a ticket would take an overwhelming beating at the polls and that this might wake the general populace up to the fact that the lunatic fringe consists primarily of people unworthy of being taken seriously.

And I've never actually been able to watch the National Treasure flicks all the way through because everything Nicholas Cage has done since Raising Arizona has made me itch in a bad way. Also, they seem like they're trying to slap Indiana Jones in the face with his own hat.

How dare they treat Han Solo with such contempt. Where's a wookie when you need one?

All this to say simply that I, too, dig Dan Brown's work in a way that makes me feel dirty and on your glowing recommendation will probably pick this one up, as well.
