Much better than the previous two books. Still long-winded, but moved along faster than the prior stories. Also, I could skim pages at a time and not miss any central story items when Goodkind gets to verbose. Good finish to the series. The early books in the series were much more entertaining as stories, they got more preachy toward the end. I did enjoy comparing the Imperial Order to the Democrats under Obama's guidance. The next to last in the series. Thank goodness. The author spends 4 pages repeating the same ideas at least 5 times in this book. This is the 11th book in the series and he spends way too much time describing things that we already know in depth. Took 450 pages until this book picked up the pace.
