Cyn Balog has created a wonderful masterpiece of a first novel. This was a very refreshing change of pace from the things I have been reading of late and it was nice to be transported (for a little while anyway) back to the angst of teenage life and high-school (uuuuggghhh). Hopefully, the teens reading this book will be able to see some underlying issues that I believe Ms. Balog was trying to convey in that you can't always judge a book by its cover. I was left wondering what kind of make-overs the seelie court will be given with a new king. Cameron seemed very pleased in the good he was doing in his training assignments even though his trainer did not have the best of temperments. Despite her anger issues, and I don't really know that they were really an issue, Dawn was just doing her job. I would have liked to read more about her and what she was really like back in Otherworld. Morgan, Morgan, Morgan.... What can I say about the lead of this story? In my opinion, Morgan is your typical teenage girl with some "abilities" that prove useful in her life. Her relationship with Cameron is very jealous making, you know, that been together forever to the point where you are finishing each others sentences and you are not even out of High School. The picturesque, Kevin and Winnie, live right next door love. Actually, I think Kevin lived a couple houses down from Winnie but you know what I am talking about. These things have you believing everything between them will be peaches and cream forever, but will they be? Read it and find out!
