A sheltered naive boy unwittingly grabs the heart strings of everyone at C Average middle school. Interesting idea for a book. I love that Cap remains true to his ideals even in adverse conditions. Nice young adult read. Thanks Ang for recommending it.

Although I had a hard time getting into Eoin Colfer's series Artemis Fowl, this book on the other hand swept me away. It's like reading a bat man fairytale. The Irish wit is woven through out the book as well as action and love of family and survival. Colfer doesn't hold back when it comes to people dying or thing going wrong like a lot of other YA writers do. I especially liked the names he gives his main characters, for example Bonvilain or good villain (which he is) Broekhart (which he has). This is a great easy read.

What an interesting idea for a book! I loved all the different characters and reading what was on their tombstones. A fast read with scary but not too scary scenes.
