I promised my stepson that I would read this book. I've been intrigued with the book that could first spark his appetite for the literary world. I have to admit that I didn't have very high expectations for a children's novel and I am a little surprised to report that I really enjoyed this read. The story was compelling and the characters very interesting. I was excited to read this as I had enjoyed previous books by Jodi Picoult. Alas, I was sorely disappointed! Handle With Care is a repeat of My Sister's Keeper -- very formulaic. Ms. Picoult has a set of characters and situations that she uses for each story, interchanging various unique diseases. So predictable and just plain boring.
