description:
The idea behind the Sestina Project is that you give me a list of six words, and I (eventually) write a sestina using those words, then post it.
The sestina is a poetic form invented by a Provencal troubador in the 12th century. It has six stanzas of six lines each, with the same six words ending the lines in a rigid pattern, though various forms of the words may be used, plus a tercet with two of the featured words in each line.
