Based on truth, this charming little story tells of Nikolai (also known as Collia), and his adventures as a servant. At first I wasn't sure what to think of it, but then I began to really enjoy it. :) There are some good lessons in courage (who would have thought?) and trusting in God, which are basically the same thing. :) ]]>

This book had some really good points, and some bad points. Mostly I think their training/discipline methods would work, but sometimes seemed a bit extreme. Also, I disagreed with nearly all of chapter 2 about children not having a conscience or sin until a certain age (if I understood that correctly). But if you take the book as a whole, there are quite a few things to be gleaned. ]]>
