I just can't seem to get through King. SO. AMAZING. Srsly. I loved loved loved this book. I need to see what else she's written, because I thoroughly enjoyed Dragon Slippers as well.

EoS/WoM is probably my second-favorite fairy tale, after Allerleirauh. The only only thing that I would've liked to've seen differently is that after all the buildup to the HORRIBLE TERRIBLE TROLLS they're played somewhat for comedy. I would've liked more creeparoonie. Tried SO HARD to get through this book. Gave myself permission to quit after reaching page 100. I didn't have the least bit of interest in the characters we followed. I wanted to know about the origin and what was up with the form It took. Didn't see any clues that those questions would be answered, so I stopped. Ran out of patience, I guess.
