Lots of interesting ideas about the problems of a robotic future. In order to truly appreciate the book you must always remember that it was written in 1950 (I got a few chuckles out the "slide rule boys" reference in one chapter)

I really had to fight my way through this one. I got very tired of the same "Dad drank the paycheque again" plot. Lots of poverty and dirt. A few funny bits but overall a tough read.

This is book that is so dark I could only read 20 or 30 pages at a time. Some parts of the book were so distrubing that I had to stop reading. The book just seemed to be one long nightmare.
