I thought this book was very informative - while they are clear that you can't "understand" labor pain from a book, they provide helpful information on what it can be like from reports of studies, personal accounts and more. A few months ago, or maybe last year, I remember Kelly saying something like "I really only want to spend more time at home with Bella and Edward. The main characters from Twilight." I'll admit, at the time I didn't get what she meant, but having read the book now, I must thoroughly agree.

Interestingly, in some ways, I did not like the way the book was written - I found parts of the plot hard to follow (maybe I was reading to fast) and some things were too "implied" or hard to envision. But the character development is amazing. I could not pull myself away from thinking about Bella and Edward. Seriously, I was reading this while on vacation, and while we were out kayaking one afternoon, I distinctly caught myself thinking about them and what might happen next.

So, this goes in my well-worth reading pile, simply for being a story about such compelling and engaging characters.
