I expected this to be more "comedy," like Chelsea Handler's book - so I was very pleasantly surprised to find a real memoir. I find KG so funny and charming, I was going to love this no matter what. But there are good stories here, too, showing how crazy hard she really did work to get where she is. I could not get through this. My first hang up was "what's new? what's old" -- I never got past trying to figure that part out. And half the time I couldn't figure it out. I just wasn't meant to read the classics. Even what I am certain was original text seemed off -- is it just me, or did everything come off sarcastic and rude? Everyone seemed horrible. Even when I skipped forward to read the end, knowing they get together... I couldn't figure it out. All of a sudden they're engaged, but they still seem to be all snooty. Hmmm. Oh well.
