The artistry that went into the pop ups in this book was quite simply amazing. The pop up dinosaurs, sharks and others are unlike any other pop up book I have ever come across. The accompanying text is very interesting too.

I'm finding this a little annoying. Have so far read three of five tales to Sean. What is trying my patience is the cutesy commentaries by Dumbledore. The tales themselves are reasonable enough.
At least I got this in a three for two deal.
Finished a night later than the above. Still found Dumbledore interludes tiresome. The stories were good and perhaps an edition with just them (possibly fully illustrated) would sell well and be less grating.

14th century travels through practically the entire then known world as described by a Tangerine.
This is the shortened version of a much longer work and contains the main route and travails of the author. An early example of ghost writing, the ostensible author actually dictating to another, it is extremely interesting and gives huge insight into the Muslim world of the 14th century as well as describing many cities and regions, some of which are little changed today.
Anyone who appreciates mediaeval travelling will enjoy this.
