I don't generally post reviews, but I can tell you what I think right here.
This campaign doesn't get as much attention in English as it should partly because it was on the Eastern Front, partly because the Anglo-Americans were busy having just landed in France.
Mostly, Adair subscribes to the "German generals were brilliant but their leadership (Adolf) screwed with them and lost them the war." This is rather an oversimplification, and largely came from the generals' self-justification after the war. "If only Hitler hadn't interfered!" In reality, if Hitler hadn't interfered you wouldn't have had your army. (Or invaded the Soviet Union, for that matter.)
As someone I can't remember said, "I understand the Soviet Army had something to do with defeating the Wehrmacht, too."
To Adair's credit, he does try to write some of it from the Soviet point of view. In this he was at a disadvantage because the Soviet-era archives were just being opened after the fall of the Soviet Union. Those archives are being shut now, but a lot of people managed to do some good work in the interim.
The other good thing about Adair's book is that he cites David Glantz a fair amount. Glantz did some fine work in the Soviet archives, but much of it was done after Adair's book came out.
All in all, this work isn't bad for someone new to Operation Bagration and the destruction of Army Group Center. I found it on my Dad's "borrowed from the library" shelf and read it last night, partly because I was looking for more Eastern Front gaming info.
