I've been promised by Alyson and Lara that I will love these books and will fall in love with Jace. Hmmmmmm......I'm having a hard time getting into it - but I'm plugging away with the hope that they get better. Lara said when she finished reading all 3 books she wanted to get a tattoo of Jace's name. That's a pretty strong endorsement and is what will keep me reading.

I held off reading this as long as I could, but alas, I couldn't wait any longer. As with Hunger Games, I blazed through this. It is a quick read, but you also just can't put it down. Now I'm just sick because Book 3 doesn't come out until Fall 2010. GRRRRRRRR! I guess I can always re-read them. I also saw there may be a movie in the works! Anyway - read them.

My Book Club for this book is Thursday. I figured it would be an enjoyable (hence quick) read, and was still finishing another book, so I waited until Saturday to start it. Well, I just finished this morning because I could hardly put it down and LOVED it! Think Glass Castle with an edge. Mishna is hilarious as she recounts her ghetto-tragic childhood. Be warned, she does use the "F" word some, though I thought judiciously and when warranted. You will laugh, gasp and yes, even get inspired - to be a better person and a better parent. Daaaaaang!

Started today & Oh my gosh. Can't stop reading. I get the worst mommy award today. About to start a movie for my kids so I can keep reading. SOOOOO good. Update: Finished it in one day. Perhaps stretching it out a little would have been a good idea, but seriously couldn't put it down. I think I'll wait a bit before starting Catching Fire...time to rejoin the land of the living...for now.
