Though interesting from a socialogical stand point, I did not think that this book was nearly as good as the move. This is probably the only time you will ever hear me say that. It makes you feel crazy...so I guess one could at least say it is vivid.

Flannery O'Conner's writings are so unique and wonderful. There is such realism and her characters are so vivid. I recommend this read to everyone. It's been a million years since I read it, and just thinking about it makes me want to read it again!
