I actually ended up liking this book from the beginning. I put a ton of the principles into practice in my marriage as I read it and they worked 100% of the time. No kidding. I believe I had a good grip on what being a good wife entailed, but Dr. Laura has helped me see where improvements can be made.
TYLER LOVED THIS BOOK, ONE OF HIS FAVORITES I HAVE TOLD HIM ABOUT! It was so funny, every time I would mention something she said in the book he would tell me how much he loved the book and Dr. Laura. Most men would!
Do not read this book if you do not believe in traditional roles as a wife/mother or if you are a woman’s rights activist. You won't like it! But for the rest of women, it is a fantastic read and one I will most likely read again to freshen up on my skills as a wife.

An amazing book that really makes me think about my faith and my attitude towards life. Immaculee is an amazingly strong woman and I enjoyed reading about the affairs in Rowanda through her eyes.
