My biggest peeve is with a well-known author, whom I used to love and read all of her books when she began writing about 25 years ago. As she got famous, her work became sloppy; run-on sentences, sentences paragraphs long, sentences beginning with "And" or "But" and just rambling. As an author myself, I found it frustrating that her books sold millions, where I and many other not-so-well-known authors make sure we cross every "t" and dot every "i".
