Svetlana,

This is interesting. I'm putting together a collection of some of my published short stories and poetry to list on Smashwords. I don't know how successful this new site will be. I haven't heard of any Smashwords writers selling downloads. It's interesting that Smashwords are listing their books on B&N. But it seems advertising books available is the big problem with the online booksellers.
I see a lot of people have been tagging books on Amazon. It would be interesting to discover if this has meant more sales.
Just curious
Laurel

Bob the Builder - I glanced through your piece. It is well written, but I thought there was too much telling when you could show what the characters were doing. You didn't say what had happened to Edward's parents in the earthquake. I presume they were killed.
Laurel
http://laurel6346.tripod.com
http://authorsden.com/laurellamperd
I’ve wanted for years to write this book and now it is written, I feel I can maybe let go of the fascination that Ancient Rome has on me.
Roman Britain in 2AD. The Romans haven’t conquered all the country. Hadrian’s Wall is built in the north to keep the barbarians out. The Romans have made war on the Druids and unruly tribes in the south.
Within the civilization the Romans brought with them, women are still subservient.
Poet and musician, Faine, was attracted to the young Roman tribune, Titus Antoninus.
All Marella her cousin wanted was to dance. She was determined to use Tribune Lucius Acilius to further her ambitions.
But first Faine and Marella have to overcome the plans of their uncle, Ceomin, chieftain of a British hillfort, who plots to use his nieces for his own ambitions.
http://laurel6346.tripod.com
Resurrection by Daniel R Snyder

At first I thought the theme of Resurrection was unusual – the Church as the Government of the country, providing the people with a world free from war. The cost was a denial of religious and political freedoms.
This scenario, which has happened in the past, is still happening and will probably continue into the future.
For all its problems, Democracy seems still the happiest state for nations.
If you are concerned about the role religion can play in people’s lives for good or evil, you may be interested in Resurrection.
Brother David Sams wants to save the Government.
John the Baptist wants to destroy it.
Christopher Lambeth and the Father President are trapped in the middle.
What will be the outcome? In eleven days, the world will find out.
Review by Laurel Lamperd
http://laurel6346.tripod.com
