I have decided that the genre teen romance books are more my style than the adult romance books. I think it is because for the most part teen authors keep love simple and clean in their stories. In teen romance love is more about holding hands and kissing than about sex and I think I find the innocence of it all very refreshing. The book is about a girl who though the lifestyle she grew up with never really got the chance to experience childhood the way most of us do so she meets her boy of interest and gets that chance. Entertaining and sweet would read more books by this author so definitely a fan.

I thought from the title that this book would be more about de-cluttering your home, but the was really a lot more about de-cluttering your life. The book was about keeping spiritual things first and managing finances by being good stewards of what you already have. The book had a lot of good insights, but not really anything I have not heard before mostly just a reminder of what is really important.

A woman who has what appears to be the dream life; successful husband, great children, crazy rich lifestyle, but loses everything and within a month her life is turned upside down. Was an ok book, but the characters kind of annoyed me because I thought they made stupid choices even after their lives fell apart and so not a big fan of the story.

I would never recommend this book to anybody. While I am sure that there are some great insights into living in the Dominican Republic during the reign of the terrible dictator Trujillo or the nightmare of trying to find happiness as a person way overweight. All these insights were completely overshadowed by all the profanity used in this book....I mean come on people do you really have to write using the F-word more than any other conjunction. if their was a sensor for this book it would be one continual beep. This book goes into the unreadable pile

Outliers takes an interesting look at success and the stories behind so many very successful people. I really liked the book and have thought a lot about his theories. I really liked the 10,000 hour theory. (you will have to read the book to know what I am talking about). I would definitely read more books by this author after finishing this one.

I am trying to add more young adult literature to my reading. This book is about a young girl accepting the death of her grandfather. I think I had a hard time reading the book because I am used to much more complicated plots. I forget that youth literature is often a little more simple and straight forward. The main character is an avid swimmer and the writer did such a good job describing the girls love of swimming that it made me want to swim some laps.
