"I enjoyed Mayle's book. The consensus of the book club was that it was lighthearted and enjoyable. I wasn't tempted by all the talk of wine but I kept wanting French bread!

"I enjoyed this look at life in Provence. I'd already read Under the Tuscan Sun, a similar look at Tuscany, and that's what prompted me to try this one.

"I probably would have liked this better if I hadn't read a couple of very compelling books right before this one. As a result it was slow to grab my interest, however, once I got into it, it was interesting and I was curious enough to complete it.

"I finished this last book in the Twilight Saga. I liked it but the first book was the best. Meyer is a talented writer and very good at developing characters. Her writing stays on track and doesn't digress off into anything that doesn't have to do ...more

"How To Be Good" is basically a story about what happens in a marriage when one of the partners completely changes their lifestyle. David, the husband, has this complete spiritual transformation, and he starts giving everything they have to the homeless, and it gets crazy, and his wife, Katie, can't handle it. It's really funny. Nick Hornby is my favorite author right now.
