Ok, finally a place I can talk about my dislikes about Breaking Dawn and not get put down (hopefully). I was so disappointed in this book.
Firstly, So much of it was unbelievable. I hated "Renesmee" I know it's original but SM, you gotta do better than that!
Also the characters changed which affected the feel of the book. They became out of touch with what we're use to. Characters are suppose to develop but they should have over the course of all 4 books. Instead, SM had Bella (and everyone else) evolve in one book and it made me lose faith in them. I felt like the story I was reading had entirely different characters.
I agree with you Vivian, the Wedding was good and so was Bella's ability to show Edward her thoughts. Edward asking Jake to sleep with Bella is a big No-No. Sorry it doesn't happen! The Volturi stand off was a complete disaster! In a book you have a build up to a climax then a wind down to a resolution. What SM did was build a huge climax then had a free fall back to the bottom. Within one page the 'conflict/mystery' of then entire 4th book was solved! It shows serious lack in SM's talents. Also Bella... I know we all love Bella but throughout the entire series she made no sacrafices. When you write a book your main character has to sacrafice something in order to develop! Bella got to have her cake and eat it too! I know we don't want to see these things happen but you need it! It's one of the fundamentals of writing! And that is what makes the book unbelievable and I lost faith in the series.

I still love Twilight (up until Eclipse.) Breaking Dawn was a HUGE let down! She should have spent more time on it. I don't know if I will ever pick up that book again.

Sorry guys...

  	In repsonse to Meh...
It is good to whine but the constant whining in Twilight is what I don't like about the book. I always thought it was just Bella but I read the first chapter of Midnight Sun and the first thing that happens is Edward whining!!! I would hate to meed SM because I think she might be a whinger! Always someone is whining in the book.
Sorry, this isn't a personal attack it's the one thing I don't like about the Twilight series, especially Bella! I can't help but thinkg I'm whining here...Lol, lets whine about the whining in Twilight!

Oh this book... even though it is written from the point of view of a swooning teenager (which I have vowed to never do... ever) it has captivated me and all my senses. Everything that Bella feels, I feel. I feel her joy, her misery and her irrevocable love for Edward. I think that's what hooks us. Once I started reading Twilight, 11pm on a Thursday evening, I couldn't put it down. I was up till 6am reading, unintentionally hooked to every word. Every time I thought I could put the book down and sleep something else would pull me right back in. However I do have some problems with Stephanie Meyer's writing. I constantly have to keep in mind that Twilight is Young Adult Fiction. The love that is protrayed is not love (I know this can be argued), yet deep down inside me the screaming fangirl kept squirming at the thought of having a vampire who was in love with me at the front of my mind. Bella disappointed me. She was portrayed as mature 17 year old in the beginning yet her clumsy, stubborn, clingy, whiny and needy traits infuriated me. She is not a female heroine. It's the hormones people!!! She is everything I hate and love about teenagers. So while I hate this book sometimes I am still hooked. It surprised me how much I actually love these books. It was a good read. I would recommend at least one round of reading. I even convinced my house mates boyfriend to read it. He loved it. However not enough to read the next books. So if you're looking at my review I would suggest you pick up a copy and read it.

I don't know what her ability will be or if she will have one but I think she will be more powerful in general than the Cullens originally thought. I think it will shock the Cullens and maybe she will become the threat to everyone?
However I have doubt if she will become a vampire because she hates the smell of blood but also I think in the way SM has portrayed the way a vampire is in the first few years after they're turned, gives me doubts as to whether SM will want Bella to go through that. However in regards to my point about her being more powerful, I can see her being turned and instead of giving into the pain she realised she has more power, she's different and instead she overcomes it and surprises everyone by it.

I'm still not sure if I like Bella. She is whinger. I get the impression that SM is a whinger too. Why? Has anyone read the first chapter of Midnight Sun on SM's website? She starts it off with Edward whinging!! And my impression of Edward from the Twilight Series is that Edward does not whinge! He is too mature for that. Any thoughts?

I think Bella's a teenager and is responding to love the way a typical teenager would. For Edward it's all new to him and the constant thought he could kill Bella makes him over protective. Is it love? I don't know. Maybe. I'm hoping that Breaking Dawn will end with Edward and Bella in a position where we see them making that crucial development which should have progressed throughout all 4 books. I also have this thought that Bella becoming a vampire (fingers crossed) will turn her into a woman who can stand on her own feet. I also think she will be more powerful than everyone (the Cullens) expected. So we will see her as a different person...literally!
I enjoyed these books. But I can see the underlining flaws in the characters. Bella especially. I loved how, in the beginning, she was portrayed as a good student and was mature for her age(yeah right). In her choice of reading you would think she would have learnt a thing or two about love... but no. So in the end I was disappointed with her. It's the hormones!!
But let's not forget the underlying point which tells us why Bella is so in love with Edward... it's semi explained by the Volturi in New Moon (but I won't say anything more for people who have not read it). However I'm hoping for a better explanation in Breaking Dawn (hopefully when Bella is a vampire???).
Also on a comment I saw earlier (page 1 I think) about life being unpredictable and possibly dangerous... You would think Edward would have seen that and would have turned Bella straight away! Lol She'd be more safe as a vampire then a human.
