Re-reading to Klayton. **Ahhh this book is even better the second time!! Kept me up last night just thinking and wondering and worrying. LOVE IT.

Wow. Sorry- that word seems to be all that I can come up with. I didn't know if it was possible, but she did it - Suzanne Collins has made a masterful sequel to The Hunger Games. It's just... wow! Everything was better than I imagined. The story was so fluid that reading it's 400 pages felt like nothing. She's also done it again as far as ending this book practically mid-sentence. I was actually surprised when I found myself on the last few pages, thinking, "How can it end now!?" She is one masterful cliff-hanger, that's for sure. All of the elements from HG are in CF, but with the volume turned up - lethal yet innocent Katniss, the love triangle between K, "the perfect man" Peeta, and shoulda-coulda-woulda (what I like to call Jacob-esque [as in Bella's doggy-breath best friend in Twilight:], but with a girlier name) Gale, action, fear, passion, manipulation. Wow. Shoot. I said it again. I'll try to stop. Read this book, though, and you'll see what I mean. Even better than the first tale of Percy Jackson and his half-blood heroism, Sea of Monsters is amazing. So funny. So fast-paced without losing the bond you form with the characters. So compelling. Loved this book. It's Harry Potter and Fablehaven-style with a little Greek Mythology lesson thrown in. It's a super quick read and I can't wait to finish the series. In fact, I already went out and bought the next two books.
