<about>Rosalie lives in Coffs Harbour Australia with her supportive husband. A talented artist since high school, she trained for several years under well-known painter Joshua Smith.
Rosalie’s drawings and paintings have featured in exhibitions, she has won prizes for her work, she has been commissioned to paint numerous portraits and her work hangs in the homes of many established artists both in Australia and overseas.

It was this creativity that helped Rosalie turn a painful and potentially debilitating back injury into an opportunity. After many years training and breeding dogs and horses, Rosalie was struck by injury and her professional future was in doubt.
Unwilling to give in, she instead embarked on an exciting new career as a writer. Armed only with a laptop and her imagination, Rosalie began her first novel, and ‘Exiled’ the series soon followed. An avid lover of science fiction and fantasy, inspired by writers such as J R R Tolkien, Isaac Asimov and Jenny Wurtz, her own books follow in this vein.

She is in the process of completing her first series 'Exiled' for Enspiren Press.
Rosalie spends most of her time writing articles, chatting or reviewing online at places like Writing.com, Sky-tribe, Editred, WritersCafe.org or Enspirenpress. She enjoys being an active member of Nitewriters, a local writing group. Last year Rosalie became a proud grandmother for the first time.

Well received both in Australia and internationally the first offering of “Exiled: Winter’s Plight” and “Exiled: Summer’s Peril” has been positive, with reviewers referring to her books as “action-packed”, “compelling”, “enthralling” and “Those who order their bookshelves according to quality, should be prepared to clear space for this exciting and innovative new series.”

Rosalie can be contacted through her website www.rosalieskinner.com where she hosts a Showcase for aspiring writers

</about>

Hi Dee Marie,
Thanks for the feed back. It's great to hear something positive. I enjoyed making the book trailer. :)
It's almost as much fun as writing, seeing your character come to life... so to speak.

Sons of Avalon looks brilliant. Good luck with it. The website is terrific.

I am at present working on my workshop notes for the MuseOnLine writer's conference. It's great to be part of such a professional team. I hope to learn as much as I can during the week. With luck I can pass on some snippets of information too.
It could be a good way of making some online friends who are interested in Fantasy.

Catch you around.
Take care,
Rosalie

Hi Jacqueline,
The Rognvalds Lith have a website. They might have photos available. At least the cover artist would have an idea of who to contact.

The photo shoot was a great way of getting the right photos for my covers.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2TWfUM3u3...

This is a book trailer I have put together from some of the shots. The photo shoot took a few days, but it was a terrific experience. I learnt heaps about creating a storyboard, direction and photography as well as having a great time.

Now I am waiting to see what the publisher offers for a cover design. In the meantime I am tempted to post photos online, but I have to use watermarks... cause I have a feeling others will want to use them too!!! The feedback I have had is all positive.

There are heaps of these re enactment groups all over the USA as well as here.
