I loved this book too, and keep it close to my bed so I can scan it whenever I need to be reminded of its insights. If you haven't read it, you would really like his other book too, The Power of Now. It really helps me to realize how much of my thoughts are preoccupied with either past mistakes or future worries. This book is totally unbelievable, and it really lost me when the Capitol introduces the half man, half beast creatures. Really?!?! That part was like a really bad science fiction movie. Aside from that episode, I really can't decide how I feel about this book. I kind of like it and kind of hate it. The whole thing is just disturbing and the ending left me thinking they accomplished nothing, Katniss was not the heroine I was expecting her to be. It's taught me to "sit back, chill out, and think of your children as cute and adorable like when they were babies" and to "talk less, act more".
