""Only Kids are Afraid of the Dark" Hard to believe how young GRRM was when he wrote this. It's exactly like reading a comic book in prose form. I know Dr. Weird wasn't his, but he's an interesting character." Apr 15, 2015 01:52AM

"Found this for $1.50 at the thrift store! I was interested in it since I read about it in "Inside Scientology." I'm reading with an open mind, since so many people trash things they don't understand or bother to learn about. (Quite a few of the reviews are proof of that.)" Dec 20, 2014 10:25PM

Jess Saxton is on page 15 of 683 of Dreamsongs Volume I: I loved how "Four Color Fanboy" tells us of how GRRM got interested in writing. Maybe if I had been born about 40 years earlier, I might have taken a similar route, since I loved comics when I was growing up.

I'm sure everything that could possibly be said about this book probably has been.

I started reading 'A Study in Scarlet' when I was a teenager, and because I was Mormon at the time, ended up throwing it down in outrage when I got to the second part.
