Another good book by Laurell Hamilton in her Vampire Hunter series. This one was a very long book 722 pages long. Anita's powers are growing in this book. And while they grow she uses the ardeur to feed. She finds herself feeding every 12 hours and if she doesn't then thing can get just a little out of the ordinary for Anita. I think that is where everyone objects to where Anita has changed. But if you remember where Jean-Claude came from his vampire was made from a Belle and her bloodline. Which means they get power from sex. So this will give you insight into Anita and this book. Lots of Sex. She gets closer to Nathaniel, Micah, Jason and Damian. Oh and even Richard. Lots of new characters are added. ]]>

This volume of Anita Blake's Vampire Hunter by Laurell K Hamilton is mostly about personal relationships between Anita and her pard and Anita and Jean-Claude with Asher. Some of the novel has to do with murder but not much.
Jean-Claude's old master sends her posse to town and stirs up quite a mess at the circus. Richard of course doesn't want to help protect but when he and his own are threatened he may not have a choice.
I really liked this one alot... ]]>

Wow what a GREAT read... This book is one of Christine's best.
Jake Bannnnaconni was bred to a twisted mother and father hoping he could shift to a leopard. He is abused from day one of his life. He parents torture him and even make him watch a murder. He keeps inside himself how smart he is and wonders if maybe he does have an ability do things but will keep it to himself. When he meets his grandfather he finds in him a friend and realizes that the man does not like his own daughter or son-in-law.
Later in his life when he is strong enough to take on his parents after his grandfathers death. When he he has something to his name.
Following a car accident that leaves him with a son and a nanny to take care of his son. That eventually he finds himself not able to live with out.
Emma finds herself pregnant and with no place to go after the car accident that kills her husband and nearly kills her and her unborn child. Untill Jake offers her a job as nanny to his son who was born during the accident. To a mother who cared nothing for who unborn son and was drinking when the accident accured. Jake doesn't know anything of children so she takes on the job.
She finds herself drawn to this man and his son. ]]>
