The titular character was the single worst character of all time! I hated how conniving and controlling this character was. It took all my strength not to throw this book across the room. ]]>

This was rather dry compared with Austen's other literature. That being said, I did enjoy the element of Anne breaking away from pleasing everyone all the time and simply pleasing herself. To me, that was one of the best messages a book can send to a person. ]]>
