I did enjoy this story. The was a whole where the main character suffers what I would consider to be one of life's most horrific traumas and how she is to deal with it is lightly passed over. It seems silly that they deal with other serious issues such as abstinence, teen pregnancy, parent/child relationships and abortion. The romance is sweet and the thoughts about friendships were fun. It shows how even little decisions can sometimes have a huge impact and we don't get to choose the consequences.
