Not one of Austen's more memorable books but still an interesting, cute story playing on the Gothic genre. Northanger Abbey is different from the stories Austen usually sticks with and makes for an intriguing tale of a young girl coming of age Jane A...more

Emma was a cute story. The reading was a bit dull for me and my attention was lost at points but overall it's not a bad story. I rank it above Sense and Sensibility but not over Pride and Prejudice. The story is gripping at parts and causes intrigue...more

Cloud Atlas really captured my attention more than I thought it would. I never thought I'd be doing a book report on such an interesting, amazing book. The creativity and the connection to all six stories is just incredible. The movie is rated R thou...more

I adore this book! There is not much I can say against it. I love it. Jane Austen is at her best with this one and it will be interesting to see if any of her later novels can top this one. Absolutely perfect, enjoyable, great story, great characters...more

Fearsome Spear (Science Fiction & Fantasy)

Description: Kaiya is a hunter, deemed at birth to be a warrior against the flyers that terrorize her clan. But Kaiya cannot receive the highest honor in her clan, to be adorned with the feathers of a flyer and declared warrior and protector of the Miocan people, until she has killed a flyer on her own and brought its wings to the Miocan leader, Phelan. Rated PG-13 for violence.
Shelter (Drama)

Description: Jack and Ariel are hiding out in a bomb shelter. They don't know what has happened and they don't know how long they'll be down there. All they know is they're on their own and they must survive as long as possible both physically and mentally. Rated PG-13 for references to sexuality, some language and some violence. This isn't exactly the whole first chapter but it's all I've got so far. Also I'm aware the formatting is not perfect. And if you have an opinion for a different title I'd be happy to hear it. There is already a book called Shelter and I'd like something original.
