"Transforming Visions," edited by Edward Hirsch, is an excellent book which combines artwork found in the Art Institute of Chicago with poems and other writings written in response to those artworks.

If you are interested in participating in the Third Annual Chicago Calling Arts Festival, you can send a proposal to info@chicagocalling.org. Your proposal should describe your project description, including how the project involves collaboration between a Chicago based artist and someone living somewhere else. If you need help connecting with a collaborator, we might be able to help with that. Thanks.
