This is the 4th book in the Incognito series and one that really kept me interested. It had love, romance, spies, terrorists, shoot outs, secret police, and (my personal favorite) a heroine that stood on her own 2 feet. I would actually rate it a 4.5 instead of a 5. Some of the loose ends were left hanging (for more stories, I guess) and the secondary characters could have been fleshed out a bit more. While it wasn't the best I've ever read, it is high on my list. This was another good book by Ms Donovan which seems to be the beginning of a "magical romance" series about 4 women who meet for dog walking several days a week. I'll admit that some of the book was predictable, but that didn't deter from the story. Some of the story, especially the first date for the hero/heroine, gave me a couple of laugh out loud moments. I've loved Donovan's writing from her first novel "Knock Me Off My Feet" and this book was no different. A good story if you can get passed the grammatical errors. It kept me guessing and, even at one point, I got confused as to who was the good guy and who was the bad guy! But I was confused in a good way... The ending wasn't exactly as I thought it would be either. Her best yet. There were some old characters that were brought back and some of the continuous secondary characters were pushed to the back to give the series a new turn. I have to admit that I guessed some of the outcomes but I still enjoyed the book.
