I don't think this is really poetry that kids would appreciate. All of the content is appropriate, but the context is more geared to adults. I don't know. There is a mix I guess. I would definitely have it in my collection. I love James Stevenson.

Super Hair-o and the Barber of Doom by John Rocco
FANTASTIC! I love the illustrations in this book. They look very retro to me. Also, the story is great. Our main characters have superpower that come from their long, crazy hair, but one day they are all captured and taken to the villain's lair and h...more

A fun look at "the grass is always greener on the other side." Goat is jealous of Unicorn and Unicorn is jealous of Goat. Fun and quirky! It isn't often you get goats featured in books.

I couldn't put this one down. It isn't the best book and has some pacing problems, but it got really good at the end. Velvet is such a strong character. I liked the original cover better. This book was going to be called Velvet and have a yellow cove...more

John Green
“There are infinite numbers between 0 and 1. There's .1 and .12 and .112 and an infinite collection of others. Of course, there is a bigger infinite set of numbers between 0 and 2, or between 0 and a million. Some infinities are bigger than other infinities. A writer we used to like taught us that. There are days, many of them, when I resent the size of my unbounded set. I want more numbers than I'm likely to get, and God, I want more numbers for Augustus Waters than he got. But, Gus, my love, I cannot tell you how thankful I am for our little infinity. I wouldn't trade it for the world. You gave me a forever within the numbered days, and I'm grateful.”
John Green, The Fault in Our Stars
