Well, if you like a bunch of desperate, pathetic, and amoral men hurling verbal abuse at one another, then this play is definitely for you. If that sort of subject matter is something you find palatable, then you might want to give it a try. To me, David Mamet is quite a mixed bag. He's a master of dialog, but I often find his subject matter off-putting. So for me, it's an interesting read from an academic perspective.
