<about>I am an older woman, and prefer serious literature discussions. My Bachelor's is in English Lit, also have a Master's. I have read many of the Classics: Dickens, Austen, the Brontes, Shakespeare and I like American Southern writers: Carson McCullers, Flannery O'Connor, and 1930s Black writers: Richard Wright, James Baldwin. I occasionally read a bestseller (Cormac McCarthy) and contemporary non-fiction.

I haven't figured out how goodreads.com works. </about>
