This book is a great way to learn about quantum mechanics from people that aren't experts. They start with the basics and go into the detailed math with lots of steps in between. Not for everyone, but you don't need to be a math genius to get what is being explained. The focus is mainly on how the various scientists, from Planck and Einstein to Heisenberg and Schroedinger, developed the language of quantum mechanics to explain the nature of light and the electron. Plus there are lots of fun comics along with the crazy math.
