I think I am not really a short story kind of person. First of all, I really like knowing a bit more information like...why, where, when and how. Second of all, I have a hard time transitioning from one story to the next. This was a quick read and very funny at times so I am going to say..Pastoralia, it's not you. It's me. This is one of those books that make you realize you have been far too generous with the five star rating. There should be an extra star to denote a book that you will remember reading forever. I think the main problem with this book is that I just didn't care. It took me about 100 pages to get into the book and then it just plugged along from there. The story seems a bit Alice Hoffman-like which isn't necessarily a bag thing but I think Alice does weird a little better. ]]>
