| This is a wonderful book about Mao's Cultural Revolution and one woman's courage through tremendous hardship and persecution. It is quite a story and well worth reading. An excellent book! | |

| One of the strangest books of recent fiction I have read. I did enjoy the way the author gradually reveals the plot including several twists and turns. I picked this up for free--can't say I would buy it. | |
