I merely skimmed this book. It seemed overly complex and too prescriptive. I'm sure it's a very good book for those who are drawn towards that kind of modality. But for me, I tend to gravitate towards the simple and universal. Just not my cup of tea.

Charming little book. I found it to be woefully too short however. It was a mere taste. A short but sweet introduction only. It was passionately written and left me feeling uplifted and excited. Very poetic and fun to read.

Another so-so book. I mostly skimmed and skipped around. There are a handful of very inspiring passages and the rest is meh. Maybe it was just bad timing? I can certainly see how some people would find John Holt's books truly revolutionary if they ha ...more

An okay read. It seemed outdated to me. It wasn't nearly as inspiring as I was hoping it would be, especially because I've heard so much about the author. It really seemed to focus on the negative. And while all of that is important, I was hoping for ...more
