"we both were invited to join the ever popular "instruction manual book club". to earn the invitation you must write your own instruction manual. rachael wrote "how to prank call", but given the advent of caller id hers is rarely read these days. i wrote "how to wash your hands". sadly given the sad state of personal hygene in schtenky, ohio (we both lived there for a time where we joined the club) mine is also rarely read. at any rate being the newbies we got to know each other over coffee "

College or University
"we were just two dedicated, save-the-world students trying to make things better in our own way. she was a journalims major who wanted to focus on hard hitting stories. i was an adhesives, glues, and paste major thinking of double majoring in refrigerator magnets. yes there were post-its and they were helping. they were. notes could be written, saved, and posted no longer just by the rich, but by everyone. but i knew i could do more. what can i say. we were two wide-eyed kids."

Sports Team
"we were both coming of age at the same time, although he is ten years my senior. there was the sign-up for the field hockey team outside coach brenda kznieowlsky's office. i think we both thought the same thing, "sounds fun, no big deal." so we signed up."
