"What I really hoped for, no doubt, was to come upon one of those lives which begin nowhere, which lead us through marshes and salt flats, trickling away, seemingly without plan, purpose or goal, and suddenly emerge, gushing like geysers, and never cease gushing, even in death."

Hi Kenneth!
I am considering moving to Portland. I want to start an artist/ holistic/yoga/massage space. How do you think that would go over in a place like PDX? I think that having the art element makes it fairly unique. I live in Bellingham right now and recently came through. I always thought I would have it in the woods....but Portland might just be funky enough. Whst do you think? or do you have any other locations in mind?
So you have read Invisibles AND Sandman.. an awesome combination. I'm looking for some good books to add to my to-read shelf... Any suggestions?
