The Art of Possibility by Rosamund Stone Zander
This book literally changed the way I view the world. Instead of scarcity and competition I now see possibility and we! It also could not have been read at a better time in my life.

The Swerve by Stephen Greenblatt
An interesting book! Definitely scholarly and so much more readable than scholarly books usually are. The middle chapters are the best and most interesting but overall the book is a little heavy for light reading.

J.R.R. Tolkien
“I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

J.R.R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring

Elie Wiesel
“The opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference. The opposite of art is not ugliness, it's indifference. The opposite of faith is not heresy, it's indifference. And the opposite of life is not death, it's indifference.”
Elie Wiesel

Stephen Chbosky
“Downtown. Lights on buildings and everything that makes you wonder. And in that moment, I swear we were infinite.”
Stephen Chbosky, The Perks of Being a Wallflower

Ernest Hemingway
“There is nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed.”
