I need a good YA book that's not too cliche. I'd like something with lots of action and supernatural creatures like vampires or werewolves.

“Too many of us are hung up on what we don't have, can't have, or won't ever have. We spend too much energy being down, when we could use that same energy – if not less of it – doing, or at least trying to do, some of the things we really want to do.”

is on page 9 of 226 of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time: I'm reading this book for literary circles in class and I will have to read a little bit at a time. Ugh. Christopher's autistic. He just found the dead dog and the policeman's taking him to the police station because he punched him. That's only to be expected though since Christopher doesn't liked being touched. This book is great so far. I love the diagrams in the book although the writing style is sort of weird.
