At times I thought the reality thread was a bit contrived -- I could have used a Saved By The Bell essay or two to lighten things up. And the Koresh/Nirvana piece felt completely forced to fit the conceit of the book. Overall, though, good. Elliott's Happy Baby is the best book nobody's every heard of. This is even better. Not a Favre book (it's a *Packers* book), and not a typical sports book -- and I mean that in the best possible way. Thoroughly captures the bond between the team, city, and fans without ever being overwrought or cliche. (Unlike me in this review.) Great book. ]]>
