This one didn't hold my attention as much as the others. It was well written and had bit of a downer ending, but it just wasn't hitting on all cylinders. It was a bit confusing at times.

Another atmospheric entry with a super downer ending. Not that that's a bad thing.

More of Noah's books…
Ian Fleming
“Mr Bond, they have a saying in Chicago: 'Once is happenstance. Twice is coincidence. The third time it's enemy action'.”
Ian Fleming, Goldfinger

Kurt Vonnegut
“When the last living thing
Has died on account of us,
How poetical it would be
If Earth could say,
In a voice floating up
Perhaps
From the floor
Of the Grand Canyon,
"It is done."
People did not like it here.”
Kurt Vonnegut

Seamus Heaney
“It is always better
to avenge dear ones than to indulge in mourning.
For every one of us, living in this world
means waiting for our end. Let whoever can
win glory before death. When a warrior is gone,
that will be his best and only bulwark.”
Seamus Heaney, Beowulf

Ryū Murakami
“People who love horror films are people with boring lives... when a really scary movie is over, you're reassured to see that you're still alive and the world still exists as it did before. That's the real reason we have horror films - they act as shock absorbers - and if they disappeared altogether, I bet you'd see a big leap in the number of serial killers. After all, anyone stupid enough to get the idea of murdering people from a movie could get the same idea from watching the news.”
Ryū Murakami, In the Miso Soup

Neil Gaiman
“Life is a disease: sexually transmitted, and invariably fatal.”
Neil Gaiman
