Hi, Nice to meet you. I love Woolf's diaries, too...My other favorites are TO THE LIGHTHOUSE and ORLANDO. cheers, Kate
Hey thanks for letting me add you! Your bookshelf is just amazing and I've already added some of your books to my to-read list! Thanks!
Just out of curiosity, what's your favorite Austen novel (I know, that's not an easy question!). I can't decide...I love Persuasion and P&P and S&S, but I can't decide from those three. Mansfield Park is also a really important book (for it's themes of colonialism), but I think I just enjoyed the others I listed more...not sure why.
If you love Austen, you might find an affinity with Dubliners, the famed collection of short stories. It also serves as an excellent introduction to a lot of ideas that develop into fruition in the later novels.
Ulysses takes a great deal of effort, but if you love Mrs Dalloway (and I sense you do), it's an excellent companion.
thanks for including me. my, you've certainly been busy at the bookshelves! i'm also a huge austen fan.
Wow, you have some great books listed! I can't wait to review them all....but it may take me a year! ha ha! Thanks for adding me!
