"Having a hard time getting back to this book, largely because I haven't developed any liking for Snowman or any of the other characters I've met so far. Without characters in whom I've invested some care, the reading becomes an intellectual pursuit and I feel I get enough of that outside of fiction. I've been told that I should come back to this novel after reading the second in the series and I'm debating that." — Jan 24, 2012 03:06pm
