Alan Phillips is 58% done with The Chronological Man: As much as I'm enjoying this short read filled with a mixture of fantasy, science fiction & (possibly?) time travel, I REALLY wish I hadn't read a particular review that likened it to a mixture of Doctor Who/Sherlock Holmes. Because that's all I can see now; the book does a very good job of keeping the pace up with action and dialogue, but I keep making comparisons to the aforementioned popular characters.
