| Browsing my to-read section and saw that I had never updated this. I enjoyed this book very much. It's a young adult book that was very thoughtful and interesting. WW2 in the Northwest of the USA is the setting. I need to make sure my son reads it. | |

| Loved this book. I loved the historical background and even if there were paragraphs I had to plow through like the breakdown of the measurement of an omer it was worth it especially to get to the chapter about the firstfruits. Beautiful, educational...more | |

| I appreciated that Jaycee Dugard gave an update on her recovery and reunification. Her reflections show wisdom and insight beyond her years. Glad to know the money from the book goes to her charity to help victims and their families. | |
