A bit too predictable and slightly too cheesy toward the end, it was nevertheless a very entertaining read.

This doesn't really need a review. It does the same as its two predecessors, in the same capacity, except going a little deeper into the magic

It's the end to the series and that's pretty much the only really positive thing I can say about it. The rest is neutral or negative.

“Bureaucracy destroys initiative. There is little that bureaucrats hate more than innovation, especially innovation that produces better results than the old routines. Improvements always make those at the top of the heap look inept. Who enjoys appearing inept?”
Frank Herbert, Heretics of Dune

Frank Herbert
“When a wise man does not understand, he says: "I do not understand." The fool and the uncultured are ashamed of their ignorance. They remain silent when a question could bring them wisdom.”
Frank Herbert, The Godmakers

Mark Haddon
“On the fifth day, which was a Sunday, it rained very hard. I like it when it rains hard. It sounds like white noise everywhere, which is like silence but not empty.”
Mark Haddon, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time

Frank Herbert
“What you of the CHOAM directorate seem unable to understand is that you seldom find real loyalties in commerce ... Men must want to do things of their own innermost drives. People, not commercial organisations or chains of command, are what make great civilizations work, every civilization depends upon the quality of the individuals it produces. If you overorganize humans, over-legalize them, suppress their urge to greatness — they cannot work and their civilization collapses.”
Frank Herbert, Children of Dune

Frank Herbert
“The mystery of life isn't a problem to solve, but a reality to experience.”
Frank Herbert, Dune
